We as human beings usually trust as children. As we grow trust can change to mistrust due to dashed hopes, lies, and unreal expectations! How sad that this Mistrust can turn on the only one that actually deserves our complete and undying trust.
You know we may not want to truly trust, not because we don't know we should. I think some of our mistrust can come by fear. Fear of what we may be asked to do or endure.

This gives me a way to journal through art and through remembering God's word.
By remembering and constantly reminding ourselves of how God keeps His promises and care of each christian, We lose some of that fear. I still sometimes struggle because I know God may ask me to walk again where it is painful to walk. Our loss of a son was deeply horrendous to think about let alone live through. God held us despite all this and I know that. He brought people to salvation through our loss. I can go on and on. So reminding myself of God's love, best for us, and answer to all things; this helps me to try to trust. Then ask Him to correct my unbelief and give me the faith I need to trust.

This is a really nice piece. I love the colors and the birds are excellent. My parents lost a son (my brother) and they aged so much after he died. I don't think they will ever get over it. They still have their faith and the way he passed gave us all closure. They really have to force themselves to keep going.

I couldn't have children, that was a hard enough thing to hear at 19. I don't know if I would rather have a child for a short length of time, or never have one. I guess my healing was probably much easier.
